ABOUT OUR CANDLES
Born Indigo candles are made using a high quality custom blend of sustainable non-GMO food grade certified coconut wax. We use only lead-free cotton wicks to provide the cleanest burning candles. Our fine fragrance oils are made of both natural and man-made ingredients and are free of phthalates, parabens, and are non-toxic. We use a minuscule amount of man-made ingredients only to protect the earth from the over-harvesting of endangered plants, to avoid animal products, and to protect against known natural allergens. Providing environmentally-mindful candles that do not contain toxic ingredients (whether harvested or made) that could pollute the earth or harm one's body by use.
CANDLE CARE
Trim wick to 1/4" before each light for optimal burning. The first burn of a candle should always be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquify. This ensures an even burn each time it's lit.
It's natural for wicks to become black and sooty so be sure to trim the wick before every use to prevent high burning flames and excess soot.
We encourage you to repurpose your candle vessels or recycle them. Once your candle reaches 1/2" from the bottom of the vessel, microwave the container for 10 seconds, carefully remove the wick and thoroughly cleanse with soap and water. We also recommend a 1:1 solution of water to vinegar.
